Hannibal is not one person. He is a surgeon, an artist, a psychiatrist, a flower-arranger, a gourmet cook, an oenophile, a brew-meister, a boy who lost his sister, a man who can’t stop killing, and a god. And he gets hungry.
Best. Description. Ever.
You know what a cool superpower would be?
Being able to know exactly when your tea is perfect. When the leaves have steeped just long enough, and you know the perfect amount of sugar or honey to add when you need it.
I love tea, I really do, but I could do without the trial and error of figuring out the the actual steep time/flavor balance before wasting 1/5th of the package.
It is so good, and there are so many layers, I think, just waiting to be unpacked. And Chris Evans’ performance was just /staggering/, like really, wow, I knew he had chops, but holy SHIT.
I kept forgetting it was Chris Evans. You know, how you’re supposed to when a great actor is on screen and channeling a character. I sat back at the end and thought, I know he’s supposed to be a good Captain America, but I really believed Evans was Curtis in a way I haven’t felt in any of his previous roles.
This movie has RUINED ME in a way I can only barely frame and I don’t know what to do about it except whimper a lot and work up the balls to watch it again very soon.
I have serious feels for this movie, and I watched it right after seeing Cap 2 for like the third time, so I’ve got major Snowpiercer/Avengers plotbunnies.
I’m just so angry at how good it is.
